Safina, a.s., connects world centres in precious and non-ferrous metals processing

The Czech company Safina, a.s., a precious and non-ferrous metals processor, emphasises in its development the material and technology progress and the expansion of export of its production. As a part of this effort, the company introduced on its website www.safina.cz a new corporate identity associated with its integration to the global Plaurum Group.

The Plaurum Group was established as a result of cooperation of the two leading precious metals processors: Czech company Safina a.s. and Russian company Ekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant (JSC EZOCM). The companies also benefits from synergy effects of joint application of new technologies and product placement on the world market.

The company’s activities focus on the development and applications of new advanced technologies, production of advanced materials and components based particularly on precious metals that can bring further progress in industries such as electronic, glass, metallurgy industries, medicine and fast growing applications of metal powders.

Safina’s tradition in processing and manufacture of products from precious and non-ferrous metals dates back to 1860. Over the passed more than 150 years, the company has gained a significant influence not only on the European market but also on the American and Asian markets.
